Arizona Schools Encouraged To Register For General Election

[Phoenix, AZ]  Over 500,000 students will cast their vote in the Kids Voting Arizona General Election both on-line and at participating schools statewide.  Kids Voting Arizona aspires to engage all Arizona youth in voting at an early age, hoping that as adults they will be engaged citizens and strengthen our democratic republic.

On behalf of the overwhelming number questions regarding registration, Kids Voting Arizona would like to announce that the last day to register in order to receive paper ballots is September 15th, 2008.

Fabiola Perez, Outreach Coordinator for Kids Voting Arizona states, “We are excited about the response we have had in our program, and want to ensure students and teachers that if they miss the September 15th deadline, they will still be able to vote online.”
