2008 was the largest Kids Voting AZ election in the organization's 20 year history! With 352,506 ballots counted, this election surpassed the previous high of 236,915 in 1992.
In October 2008, KVAZ distributed 299,354 paper ballots and 625,793 KVAZ Voter ID cards to 1,165 participating schools.
KVAZ, in partnership with the Phoenix Association of Realtors, provides each kid voter with an "I Voted" sticker.
